What can I track?

There is a wealth of information being gathered every time you visit any web page.
Your name and address of course is not gathered, but extremely useful information about the visiting computer is gathered such as:
  • The language used
  • The server location (country)
  • The browser being used
  • The operating system
  • The screen resolution and colours
  • Support of java and flash

Visitor information gathered includes:
  • How many visitors altogether
  • New visitors
  • Unique visitors (eg 10 people visited 25 times)
  • Average number of pages viewed
  • How long they spent on the site
  • How many only visited a single page and then left
Trends are displayed to you on a timeline (useful when updating the site or running campaigns)
Traffic sources - this is an incredibly valuable resource - how did your visitors arrive at your site?
