Google provides you with some HTML code to add to each of your web pages to allow tracking to begin.
This needs a little technical skill but is not difficult.
If you are unable to do this yourself you are offered an email to copy and paste to your web designer.
Google Analytics provides a large amount of help to users and most questions are easily answered from their help files.
